Petkele performs folk dance of a high level. The main goal is to entertain the audience.

Costumes are well designed. Mostly Petkele performs in traditional costumes, which are based on researched and collected knowledge. They are not national costumes, which often give false picture of past times clothing: the youth of the village didn't wear precisely the same clothes, even though the fashion and style were similar. Petkele also has some modern costumes for special choreographies.
